Geoffrey Beene was born in Louisiana in 1927, was one of the most illustrious figures of American Couture. After studies in medicine interrupted, Geoffrey Beene studied fashion in New York and in Paris before embarking on the creation of original outfits, full of fantasies.The designer launched his own fashion house in the 60's and in 1976 became the first American to scroll through a collection in Milan.
