Madame Rochas Eau de Toilette...
A great classic, a tribute to elegance
Hélène Rochas, who was Marcel Rochas’ muse, took over the company in 1955 following her husband’s death. To celebrate the independent woman she had become, almost in spite of herself, she asked Guy Robert to make her a perfume. “I wanted to offer something personal. My fragrance had to perpetuate the Rochas style of elegance and reflect the independent woman I had become. If ‘Femme’ is sensuality, then ‘Madame Rochas’ is grace”, she stated. Madame Rochas was incredibly modern when it was released and the fragrance has become a timeless composition.
An aldehydic floral, the composition of Madame Rochas enhances the extreme purity of a flurry of velvety white flowers – jasmine and tuberose, neroli and ylang-ylang. The heady bouquet with a creamy and powdery trail is propelled by vapours of aldehydes. Velvety sandalwood and cedarwood prolong the magic again and again.
